"UNSPOKEN TEARS"

Image
"UNSPOKEN TEARS" I lend a hand, a listening ear, A shelter from life's raging storm and fear.  For friends, for strangers, I stand tall,  A rock of support, through it all. But when my own skies turn dark and grey, And troubles weigh upon my day,  I search for solace, a friendly face,  But find myself alone in this endless space. I wonder, am I the problem's root?  The trouble maker, the one to blame and dispute?  Do my efforts to help, only bring strife?  Is my presence, a burden to life? The weight of thoughts, a crushing sea,  Drowns my heart, and blinds me. But still I rise, and help I give,  For in their smiles, my strength I live. Though none stand for me, in my own fight,  I'll hold on tight, to the light. For in the darkness, a voice whispers low, " Your kindness matters, don't let go." -Anthony N Mushahary (Maxx N Mushahary)

"THE GENTLE VOICE OF WAIT"

Image
"THE GENTLE VOICE OF WAIT" I stand beneath the twilight sky, Longing eyes scanning the horizon high, For her who left, with a promise unspoken, My heart holds on, though hope is broken. Logic whispers, "Move on, let go," But faith in her and God, I know, Echoes "Wait," a gentle, steadfast voice, A love so strong, my soul rejoices. The wind carries memories of her smile, Tears fall, yet I hold on for a while, The stars above, a twinkling sea, Reflecting the depths of my loyalty. Perhaps she's lost, or wandering free, But I'll remain, where love once was, you see, For in God's plan, our paths will cross, And she'll return, no matter the loss. My heart beats strong, with every test, Faith anchors me, and love finds rest, In His timing, our love will align, Until then, I'll wait, divine. –Anthony N Mushahary   (Maxx N Mushahary)

"UNSEEN GRATITUDE"

Image
"Unspoken Gratitude" A father's toil, a son's regret For words unspoken, hugs unmet The weight of work, the stress he bears A silent thanks, in hidden tears His hands, a map of endless labor Providing for us, his constant favor The creases deep, the eyes that strain A father's love, in every pain I yearn to say, to hug and share The gratitude, that's hard to declare But fear and doubt, they hold me tight Leaving thanks unspoken, in the night His sacrifices, a sea so wide A depth of love, I cannot hide Yet words evade, my voice does fail A silent son, with an unspoken tale Perhaps someday, I'll find my voice And thank him, with a heartfelt choice Embracing tight, with tears of joy For all his love, his endless employ Until then, I'll hold it true And silently thank him, anew. –Anthony N Mushahary  (Maxx N Mushahary)

"ECHOES OF YOU"

Image
"ECHOES OF YOU" In empty mornings, I awake Missing your "Good morning" sake The sun rises, yet feels grey Without your text, my day's astray Every moment, I relive the past Your laughter, smile, and every gesture last Your eyes, like stars, shone bright and true Now, in their absence, my heart anew I miss the way you'd walk beside The swing of your steps, your gentle stride The soft whispers in my eager ear The warmth of your touch, dispelling fear Memories linger, a bittersweet refrain Reminding me of love's unfinished strain Our time together, like autumn leaves Fleeting beauty, fragile as summer breeze In silence, I hear your voice A gentle whisper, a heartfelt choice To hold on to what we once shared Though fate tore us apart, unprepared My heart still yearns for your embrace A love unfinished, a tender space Where laughter echoed, tears were dried And our love story, left untried Time may heal, but won't erase The memories of our unfinished days...

"THE WEIGHT OF GUILT"

Image
"THE WEIGHT OF GUILT" A shattered mirror lay on the floor, A reflection of mistakes before, A boy stood, tears streaming down, Regret and sorrow, a heavy crown. A broken wing, once soared so high, Now clipped, unable to touch the sky, A fallen leaf, once green and bright, Withered by choices, lost in night. Rivers of remorse flowed from his eyes, As shadows of past mistakes arise, Echoes of what could've been, Whispers of forgiveness, yet to begin. He searched for pieces of the past, To mend the shards that would forever last, A puzzle of lessons learned and grown, A new path unfolding, like a dawn. With every step, he let go, The weight of guilt, the chains that slow, A phoenix rose from ashes cold, A boy reborn, with heart made whole. The mirror's shards began to gleam, Reflecting growth, a brighter dream, The wing healed, soared once more, A leaf renewed, on a wiser shore. Time's waves washed away the pain, As sunshine lit a brighter plain, The boy stood tall...
