"THE WEIGHT OF GUILT"
A shattered mirror lay on the floor,
A reflection of mistakes before,
A boy stood, tears streaming down,
Regret and sorrow, a heavy crown.
A broken wing, once soared so high,
Now clipped, unable to touch the sky,
A fallen leaf, once green and bright,
Withered by choices, lost in night.
Rivers of remorse flowed from his eyes,
As shadows of past mistakes arise,
Echoes of what could've been,
Whispers of forgiveness, yet to begin.
He searched for pieces of the past,
To mend the shards that would forever last,
A puzzle of lessons learned and grown,
A new path unfolding, like a dawn.
With every step, he let go,
The weight of guilt, the chains that slow,
A phoenix rose from ashes cold,
A boy reborn, with heart made whole.
The mirror's shards began to gleam,
Reflecting growth, a brighter dream,
The wing healed, soared once more,
A leaf renewed, on a wiser shore.
Time's waves washed away the pain,
As sunshine lit a brighter plain,
The boy stood tall, with heart renewed,
A story rewritten, with lessons imbued.
